ATDS is an established company looking for an experienced candidate to join our team. The right candidate for this position will have 10+ years of technical project management experience, preferably in the automotive industry. The candidate should also have significant customer relations capabilities, a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, and the ability to travel.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline, OR Business degree with technical experience.
10+ years of business management experience- background in management of a technical business.
Automotive industry experience preferred but not strictly required- A background in Vehicle Durability Engineering, OBD, or emissions a plus.
Ability to maintain full responsibility for a number of simultaneous projects, reporting directly to customers.
Experience w/ management of non- degreed technical staff & other engineering staff.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required, knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus.
Strong customer relations and relationship management skills with demonstrable experience.
Experience with expense tracking, job costing and invoicing customers against purchase orders is a must.
Desired Skills (not required):
Bilingual (Korean, Chinese, or German)
Background in or familiarity with Proving Grounds operations.
Technical sales experience, or support of technical sales presentations/proposals.
