Key contact person within BPI for all OE/OES sales activities, to include, but not limited to sales, marketing, pricing, product, distribution, customer service, operations, etc. Provides assistance, direction and leadership to the OE/OES Business Development Managers to obtain maximum sales volume consistent with company objectives.
Develops and drives the sales, growth, and retention strategy within the assigned account to achieve long-term success;
Plans, communicates and/or coordinates policies and programs to the customer, communicates strategy in order to properly implement all company sales programs, marketing programs, promotions, etc. to ensure maximum sales volumes;
Provides direction and monitors reporting and/or direct ship programs, addresses concerns and issues with the customer related to program changes and needs;
Attends meetings for the purpose of on-going updates, monitors needs, communicate policy revisions and changes, and more;
Establishes and/or coordinates annual sales forecast and expense budget needs to include, sales and marketing;
Analyzes both customer specific and market sales data to optimize sales strategies;
Provides on-going feedback/communications within BPI related to product and pricing needs, competitive trends, information and analysis, marketing programs and marketing support needs;
Provides monthly reports, meeting reports and call reports;
Manage a team of business development managers and sales support specialists. Works with the BDM’s on effective implementation of national and regional programs, budget control and policy implementation;
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth;
Collaborates cross-functionally with other teams within the organization.
Minimum BS/BA; MBA preferred.
7 years of experience in sales management
10+ years of technical sales experience
OES experience as preferred
Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Proven ability to position products against competitors
Demonstrable ability in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills
