Leading automotive aftermarket manufacturer looking for experienced Category Manager responsible for utilizing economic, automotive, and product line specific trends in order to provide actionable insights to customers. The Category Manager will be a subject matter expert across their assigned product line in regards to both industry and product specific trends. The Category Manager will collaborate closely with multiple internal departments including Cataloging, Sales, Product Management, Supply Chain and Pricing.
Responsibilities include but not limited to;
Collaborating with customers on pricing and inventory strategies
Analyze statistical data in order to extrapolate insights
Developing novel ways to present actionable insights to customers
Identifying potential consolidations in order to assist with streamlining customer inventory
Maintaining working relationships with the Category Managers at customers
Performing Customer Line Reviews
Managing Product Life Cycle at retail customers
Performing Retail and Competitive price shops
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Minimum 5 years experience in a Category Management role
General Automotive knowledge
Great communication skills
Initiative-taker, resourceful and great work ethic
Excellent planning, execution, and project management skills
