Automotive Parts Associates is searching for an individual to join our team as Inside Sales Manager. Located in Collierville, TN., this position is full time and requires the individual to be local and able to work in the office 4 days a week. Serious inquiries only. Email resume to hq@apa.parts.
The Inside Sales Manager will communicate with shareholders and members to understand their needs while also generating additional revenue by helping execute the product and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with APA shareholders to support APA product and marketing strategies
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying member purchases not through APA. Suggesting related and new items
Build rapport, providing technical information and explanations to current members of APA
Research potential new members and build a business case for them to join or not join APA
Complete onboarding of new members and shareholders
Maintain Group Roster of Shareholders and Members
Maintain communications with the membership including weekly updates
Making cold calls to the membership to discuss initiatives at APA
Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Travel, up to 30% as required. May include weekends
Perform other tasks as required
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
3+ years of experience in the automotive field or in a related area
